Utrecht : Barracks for Fortress-Artillery or Hojel-Barracks, around 1910.
This is the backside of the main building of the Hojel-Barracks built between 1886-1888. The barracks was built outside the old downtown of Utrecht along the Croeselaan, oposite the existing Barracks for Field-Artillery. More incomprehensible this monumental barracks was demolished only around 1990 whereafter ugly office buildings and expension of the Jaarbeurs were built there.
